Pros and cons of GardenID app for iPhone and iPad

GardenID app good for

Please note this app does not cover fruit trees but has an extensive database of veggies and herbs. This app covers common ( and not so common) vegetable garden plants. Fruits included are Tomatoes, strawberries, and melons.
For some strange reason, this app disables sound, so any music you are listening to when you start or restart the app gets turned off. The app does not use sound, so I do not understand this.
Is a good reference for homeowners. Is simple and easy to use.
Great app. Easy to use. Love the what can I grow for my location and for the time of year. Would love to see this app grow with more veggies and more info. So far so good!
This has some great info if your wanting to start your own garden. Thanks
Its a fun, and very easy way to learn about basic to gourmet plants and their tolerances.

Some bad moments

Does not have very many updated fruits and vegetables for Canada. A simple tree like a apple tree cannot be found for a zone 2 (of which many many exist)
Steps: 1- Launch the application 2- Press on all fruits and vegetables 3- Go to any plants and press the back key 4- Notice application crash 5/5 times
The app promises to cover fruits and vgetables but there is nothing about fruits. I need my money back.
One of the problems; press " plants to plant now" a lot of veggies come up, but when you look at them individually it says "Jan to March" or march to may etc. Well this August why are u showing these plants in the " plants to plant now?" I wish I didnt buy this for more reasons. If Im wrong Ill take this back!
DO NOT BUY THIS PROGRAM if you are interested in fruit and/or fruit trees. Although the program claims to contain information on fruit, and even has fruit included on some of the buttons - THERE IS NOT ONE PIECE OF FRUIT information. Instead of Garden ID they should call this Vegi Only ID. I got ripped since I only purchased it for information on fruit trees.
It has a lot of information but I live in Chicago. Most of the herbs that are supposed to grow best in my particular area are supposed to be planted in mid December. Um, ok? Has anyone tried to plant something in the middle of December in Chicago?!?! I wish it had more about what and how to grow indoors which would be important in areas that arent warm all year round.
